Help me Obi Wan Kenobi

How precious is this?!

R2 is tiny, his markings were not fun to do

See how small they are?

Huggy dinosaur

This baby dinosaur is waiting for a hug from above.

He's quite pudgy!

Don't you just love his colours?

Dodo!

I made a dodo!

Apparently while dodos are (only just) eligible to be part of the de-extinction program, it is unlikely that they will be. This is a fact I learned today.

Little tail feather!

A Handbunny

A quick caveat that I am in no way trivialising the message of the Handmaid's Tale or the awful attacks on women's rights going on all over the world. I just wanted to make a handbunny.

Blessed be the fruit

A handbunny's tail.

Sarah the Triceratops

This little girl has just hatched and she's eager to meet the world

I had fun making the egg shell!

Little baby dinosaur tail!

Friendly dragon

This guy looked lonely after I'd finished him. Until this tiny bee found him, that is.

I'm normally not very good at doing eyes, but I was quite pleased with his.

His wings are bigger than hers...

Blinky

Dan [staring concernedly at me]: What is it?
Me: shrugs
Dan [later, still staring]: What's happening? Why is he...  dear god, he only has one eye!
Dan [ten minutes later]: A tongue! Give him a tongue!

I think he was subconsciously based on Kryten's hand when it acts as a distress message in Terrorform

EU Penguins

I branched out from my usual love penguins, but these two are holding something that is just as dear to them.

This little pair will be going to my work's Christmas craft fair - I reckon they will be sold pretty fast!

Multicoloured sheep

This little lady would like to suggest that you make a colourful jumper out of her wool

What can I say? I had a lot of small amounts of random colours to use up..

Penguins of love

I've made one of these before, but they are so quick and fun to make that I made another one! (or another two?)

Oh, and continuing the ongoing obsessions with nubbins, I realised that every one of the penguins I have ever made previously (a quick search of my blog shows around 13) didn't have teeny little penguin tails. But these two love-birds -mammals both have cute little tails to be proud of (not pictured though as it would be quite boring, I am sure you can imagine little penguin tails)!

Woolly llama

This little knitter is such a cutie! I'm super-proud of her nose/mouth.
I used a different needle felting method than usual for her, to make her fluffy (much like the chinchilla tail here)

Every time I decide to knit with cocktail sticks I hate myself for the decision for days afterwards. It is not easy...

Hexablob

So, sometimes I get ideas from the internet on what to make, sometimes an idea just comes to me, and *sometimes* I just keep adding wool with no plan at all.
Guess which method hexablob was born under...

His antennae are bendable of course (which is why they are have moved between this picture and the last)

He's so derpy!

Bunny dalek

This is not the first animal-controlled-dalek I've made, it isn't even the first bunny-controlled-dalek I've made, but I think it is the neatest.

I made the whisk and plunger out of fimo, which I think is better than the previous wire ones.

Dalek Bun: I saw the daleks, what we have done throughout time and space. I saw the truth of us, Creator.

So many doozers!

I've been making some tiny, tiny doozers for a thing and someone asked if I could make them one. So I made a bigger one. Seriously, the house is plastered with green fimo at the moment.

He has a tiny calculator!

Look at those guys on the left carrying a radish dust stick.

Also, I would like to point out the mini foreman (purple hat  at the back) shouting at Giant Doozer Foreman with his loud speaker.

Cuthbert and Desktopus

So, I needed to make a drunken pig sitting at a pub table with a Sherlock Holmes book. For reasons.

He's called Cuthbert

Dan made the table out of lolly pop sticks.

Cuthbert has a very sproingy tale.

Look at the tiny Sherlock book! (also Dan-made)

So, I was making teeny doozers and I got bored, so with some spare doozer-green fimo I made Dan a Desktopus. Now, all 6 people in his company will know where he sits!

Kevin the juggling lizard-thing (and a WIP sneak peek)

Don't know why but even before Kevin had a face he was known as Kevin. Kevin's a cheeky lizard always up to mischief.

Most lizards can only juggle 3 balls at most, but Kevin has a very long tail which helps.

Top view.

And! Here's a sneak peek of something we are slowly working on

Data waldorf doll

Dan asked me to make him a Data plushie, but when I got round to doing it I didn't have any felt in the right colour for his skin. So on a whim, I decided to make a waldorf doll (do please remind me not to ever make another one!)

He's standing behind the schematics for Enterprise E, ready to recite some poetry

I embroidered a third hollow pip but you can't quite see it here, Dan made the comms badge from Shrinky Dink.

"O Spot, the complex levels of behaviour you display
Connote a fairly well-developed cognitive array.
And though you are not sentient, Spot, and do not comprehend,
I nonetheless consider you a true and valued friend"

Wedding dragon

This beautiful young lady was a wedding present, I was vaguely tempted to give her a veil, emboldened by the success of my kookaburra wedding veil but wisely decided against.

I tried a new way of doing wings, which are always my least favourite bit of a dragon. I was quite pleased with them!

You can't see but her spikes turn to dots on the tail, and the last dot is actually a heart. Because, you know... wedding dragon and all that!

Ready for take off!
