Needle felted Elliott from Pete's Dragon

It seems like I have been making Elliott for*ever*. Every time I thought I'd finished I'd remember he had wings (of course!) or the legs just wouldn't look right.

This is a little image heavy so I've put the side/back views after the cut. But do click through or I will feel that all those little spikes I made were to no purpose!

To give you an idea of size. He wasn't small!

Took ages to get his mouth just right - he has a protruding lower jaw.

Impressive tail and array of spikes!

I put wire in his tail so it has some poseability. I would have done the whole body but I ran out of wire.
